FOCUS AWARDS LED Light Therapy Treatments.
The aim of this course is to develop the learner’s knowledge, understanding and practical skills when using LED Light Therapy within a facial treatment. Learners will learn the skills involved in providing a thorough consultation with the client to formulate a specific course of treatment, tailored to suit individual client needs. Learners will prepare for and perform an LED Facial as well as providing the relevant aftercare.
The course aims to ensure you; the student understands the basics of health and safety and anatomy and physiology of the treatment. This manual covers the treatment background, benefits, consultation and contraindications, contra-actions, aftercare and equipment and products required to perform the treatment. The practical techniques will be covered on the practical session to ensure competency in the procedure.
LED therapy is effectively a ‘first-aid kit’, healing wounds, reducing bruising and swelling and calming skin disorders (including acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema). It can be used to treat the most vulnerable and sensitive skin types and acts as an anti-inflammatory whilst also strengthening the skin to alleviate further symptoms.
