A comprehensive study and/or assessment in skin care. The VTCT Level 2 Facial Massage and Skincare developes practical skills including skin analysis to determine the most suitable course of treatments and range of products to use, cleansing, balancing, toning, moisturising, steaming, extraction, a full facial massage routine, selecting and applying tailor-made face masques. The theory portion of this course involves the anatomy & physiology of the upper torso, including the muscles, bones, blood and nerve supply and an in-depth study of the skin. This course encompasses Health & Safety, Client Care & Communication into the qualification allowing you to deliver a hygienic, safe and effective treatment to each of your clients. Progression from this course allows you into the VTCT Level 3 Electrical Face and Body courses and VTCT Level 3 Beauty Therapy, as well as a great pre-requisite to further advanced courses such as VTCT Level 4 Laser and IPL Treatments, VTCT Level 4 Microblading and VTCT Level 4 Micropigmentation.
This course includes the teaching delivery and assessments leading to a fully accredited and fully insurable VTCT qualification.
Once registered, all students are given immediate 24/7/365 access to our online campus where course materials, lesson resources and course assignments can be viewed in your own time, from the moment you enrol and ahead of your scheduled tutor-led sessions.
