VTCT Level 3 Body Electrotherapy

The VTCT Level 3 Body Electrotherapy qualification is about improving body and skin condition using galvanic, Electro Muscle Stimulator (EMS), micro-current, lymphatic drainage and micro-dermabrasion equipment. It covers the skills involved in providing a thorough consultation with the client to formulate a specific course of treatment tailored to individual client needs as well as the ability to provide relevant aftercare advice after and between treatments.This course will enable learners to provide electrical treatments for clients. Learners will develop the knowledge and skills to prepare and maintain equipment and provide professional body electrical treatments. Learners will also develop their understanding of the underlying body structures. The use of electrical treatments has seen a huge rise in the beauty industry in recent times and this exposure has fuelled the development of advanced equipment. Using electrical equipment can achieve accelerated results ranging from improved muscle tone, lightening of acne scarring, acne reduction, improvement of fine lines and wrinkles and more. You will cover different skin types and various electrical equipment and their uses such as;

• Lymphatic drainage equipment
• Microlance
• Microcurrent
• EMS

Each electro-therapy treatment is carried out for different benefits, however, the general reasons for a client wanting an electro-therapy treatment are as follows:

This course can be used as a pre-requisite to Level 4 subjects such as VTCT Level 4 Laser & IPL Treatments, VTCT Level 4 Microblading or VTCT Level 4 Micropigmentation.
